My stay at Montecito Inn was a mixed bag. The location was great, just a few blocks from the beach, but I found the noise from the nearby Highway 101 quite bothersome. The charm of the historic building was overshadowed by the outdated room and small bathroom. However, the staff were superb, making my experience a little brighter. Overall, while it has potential, I feel there are better options available in that price range.
